Bali Island known as “The Island of God” where religion is the source of traditional customs in everyday life. A vibrant culture, unique arts, ceremonies, a gentle friendly people and spectacular scenery make Bali Island as one of the primer travel destination in the world.
Bali’s population of over 3.000.0000 souls over the whole island, including those in the smaller island of Nusa Penida, Nusa Ceningan, Nusa Lembongan, Serangan, and Menjangan Island. Most of people in Bali (90%) are Hindu religion, and others are Catholic, Protestant, Moslem and Buddhist, but those religions are living on harmony. The Hinduism in Bali mixed with local tradition an culture, almost everyday you can find ceremony or festival. With average daily temperature ranging from 25 degrees in the evenings to 30 degrees in the day time, Bali usually comfortable year round. The official rainy season is from October until March, but this, of course, can be unpredictable.
The currency used in Bali is the Indonesian Rupiah. You will find notes of 100,000, 50,000, 20,000, 10,000, 5,000 and 1,000 denominations, as well as coins with values of 1,000, 500, 200, 100 and 50Rp. Majority the people in Bali work in Agriculture and Tourism Industry. The life style in Bali is always related to “Tri Hita Karana” a three partitive concept that include the spiritual relationship between Human, God, and their environment.
