The man behind the lotus-shaped murals and decorations in the Lobby is Ketut Winata. Created in Bandung, where he currently resides, the design was inspired by the radiance of the lotus flower, which has always been Padma's trademark, and formulated into a sculpture made of copper and brass. The challenge for Ketut Winata was transfer sketched impressions into a three dimensional sculpture. However, the end result is considered a quintessential work of art from respected Indonesian artisan.
In the center of the Lobby, accompanying the murals and decorations, is the celebrated sculpture by Nyoman Nuarta, entitled Happy Wave. This stunning combination of contemporary artistry defines the overall aesthetic look of the new Lobby.
